Citibank Raises Interest Yield on its Saving Account to 2.5%

Citibank, as the first banking house, has reacted to yesterday’s interest rates hike made by CNB. With effect as of Tuesday, September 4, 2007, the interest yield on its saving accounts is raised from 2% to 2.5% per annum.

Citi Saving Account does thus offer the highest interest yield that is available in the Czech market and, at the same time, it’s to be had under the most advantageous terms. Currently there is no other account existing in the Czech market that would offer similar interest proceeds starting with one Koruna’s worth of deposit in the account, plus the option to withdraw and use the money at any time.
