MATERIALS REQUIRED:
The course materials include the following 2 items:
1) Textbook: Microsoft Office 2013 IN Practice – Word Complete, by Randy Nordell, published by McGraw-Hill, 2014 (ISBN-13: 978-0-07-748690-7). The textbook can be purchased new or used(as a hard copy, spiral bound book); or you can use the online Etext version of the book.
2) REQUIRED: A new SIMnet Access Cardto accompany the above text. (This card also includes access to the online Etext – so if you are comfortable using an Etext – you will not need to purchase a hard copy textbook.) The campus bookstore is carrying 2 different packages – one including a new hardcopy textbook and the Access card – and another with just the Access card (for those who many want to purchase a used book or use the Etext). The textbook itself can also be purchased used through Amazon or other used booksellers.
/ IMPORTANT: If you purchase a used textbook, you will need to purchase aNEW SIMnet Access card, either through the campus bookstore or online
(with PayPal or a credit card) directly from McGraw-Hill at
you create and login to your SIMnet Account.
Warning: DO NOT purchase a “used/ opened” access card – it will not work.
