2017 Grant Process & Application Form
Mission Statement: The charge of the Outreach Grants Committee is to carry out and support Outreach Mission Projects of the Redeemer by awarding grants that provide significant support to programs and institutions whose work directly impacts and seeks to improve the lives of God’s people who have critical needs.
In fulfilling this charge, we will give priority to:
· Programs and institutions which provide direct relief to people with critical needs who are unable to help themselves.
· Programs and institutions whose mission aligns with that of The Church of the Redeemer and the charge of the Outreach Grants Committee
· Programs and institutions with which The Church of the Redeemer is already engaged, both financially and with significant engagement of our parishioners with hands-on work and/or board/committee work
The Outreach Grants Committee consists of 11 Redeemer parishioners. Grant proposals will be evaluated according to how well they meet the Grant Committee’s priorities.For applicants who received grants in 2016, we will be scheduling a session between January and April to review your progress to date and discuss plans for 2017.
All Grant Applications are due by 5pm on Friday, March 10, 2017. In order to apply, please complete the Application Form, attach the required materials and send via email to the Outreach Grants Chair – Julia DeMoss at: or send by mail to:

Julia will acknowledge receipt and let you know if further information is needed to process your grant application. Grant awards will be announced and checks mailed by mid- June, 2016.
PLEASE NOTE: All grant recipients will be required to submit a short report by December 31, 2017, summarizing how the grant has been used.
