Presents in the form of discounts are handed out by almost everybody before the Christmas season, but only Citibank gives out the most advantageous appreciation of funds on term deposits. This is our Christmas present for Citibank clients,“ said Jiří Báča, member of the Board and Distribution/Sales Director of Citibank and, he further added: “Since its introduction to the market last April, CitiBest has enjoyed truly a tremendous popularity. In fact, every fifth investor with Citibank invests into this product.“

A minimum amount of investment into CitiBest is CZK 200,000, which means making an investment of CZK 100,000 in mutual trusts and, in addition, depositing another CZK100,000 in advantaged term deposit.

Distributed by Citibank are unit trusts by renowned financial institutions such as ING, Credit Suisse and MFS. Currently, investors can choose from a total of 86 mutual funds denominated in CZK, USD, CHF, GBP, JPY, CAD or AUD.

To preserve objectivity, Citibank does not offer its own mutual trusts, but only those of other investment companies. When making their selection, Citibank is guided by their ratings, performance and the developments in financial markets. Such analyses stem from research done by Citigroup’s extensive worldwide analytical network and its EMEA regional office in London.
