Vocabulary Homework
Choose which vocabulary activity you would like to complete each night!!
Activity 1 / Activity 2 / Activity 3Create an illustration dictionary for your vocabulary words. Draw a picture and write the definition to represent (stand for) each vocabulary word. / Free Choice: Come up with your own idea!!
(Ex: create a comic strip with each word. Use each word in ONE of the strips. Create a story using each word (with the correct meaning. / Make a connection to specific life experiences for your vocabulary words. (Ex: My family helps take care of the environment by recycling.)
Activity 4 / Activity 5 / Activity 6
Createflash cards for each vocabulary word. Each flash card should include the vocabulary word on one side, and the definition on the other side. Use the flash cards to study for your test! / Write sentences using each vocabulary word. (Uasanderline the word.) Each sentence should show comprehension of the vocabulary word. You must include each of the four types of sentences at least once. / Write your vocabulary words and their definition in a creative way. (Example: squiggly letters, bubble letters, different colored pencils…)
