What to submit?

The lesson plans should focus on Grade 4 standards. The focus of each lesson plan should be on teaching the specific trait of writing; it should not be a content area that just includes a writing activity. In addition to the four lesson plans, you should ask the teacher you are working with if you can get a copy of essays written by two different students: one strong writer and one weak writer. These essays could have been written while you were not there. For privacy concerns, please cover the child’s name when you copy this assignment to turn in to me.Clear, legible copies of the student essays must be submitted with this assignment. You should analytically score both students’ essays by ranking the six traits of writing exhibited in each of their essays and briefly explain why you ranked the traits for each essay the way you did.
