Calculus with Analytic Geometry 2 and Calculus for Engineers 2

Course Content: We shall Chapters 6-8, and 10-11. The schedule below may be a bit ambitious, but we’ll cover as much as we can. We cover integral calculus and applications, parametric and polar equations, and infinite sequences and series.

Homework and Quizzes:
Homework assignments are on WebAssign. Our WebAssign code is fau 75587004
Quizzes will be based on homework. The lowest two quizzes will be dropped and no make-up or early quizzes will be given for any reason.

Attendance: Students are expected to attend class, arrive on time, and leave when class is dismissed. Students are responsible for information announced in class, and should not email the instructor to ask what was done in a class they missed, unless they missed it for an approved University function or because of illness.

Grading: Tests will count 40%, quizzes, 20%, homework, 10%, and the comprehensive final exam, 30%.

Grading Scale
A ≥ 90 > A- ≥ 87 > B+ ≥ 83 > B ≥ 80 > B- ≥ 77 > C+ ≥ 73 > C ≥ 67 > D+ ≥ 63 > D ≥ 57 > F

The grade of I (incomplete) will only be given for circumstances specified in the FAU Catalog. This rarely happens.
