Dear Western Bay, Club Coaches,

Please fill in a nomination form for playersthat you believe are capable of representing the: Western Bay, Under 11 Team.

Coaches are asked to carefully consider their nominations and only nominate player/s who have consistently excelled all year and have ‘x’ factor qualities. Importantly, we value and respect your judgement. We thank you in advance for your professionalism in this process. Each team can nominate up to 4 players. Please be very selective, I would expect many coaches to only be nominating 2 players.

Basic timeline as follows: (final details and time to be confirmed)

Trial game:

Sunday 31 July 10am – 12am.

Players to get together at 9:15 for team selection and warm up.

Game at Tauranga Domain, B or C (TBC)

Basic structure of the game would be a game of 4 halves’ (If you know what I mean)

With teams rotating and playing each other. Estimated 60 players on the day.

(24 Players will be selected)

I will require additional help on this day from Coaches and even Fathers to make this run smoothly. Will confirm this later.

Trainings:

Sunday 7, 14 and 21 August 9:30 – 11:00am

Possible mid-week training in the week before the tournament

Ellis Shield tournament day:

Saturday August 27. Full day event.

Prior to sending in your team’s nominations, could you please discuss with the player/s whatcommitment will be required. There is an expectation that all nominated players, attend all timeline requirements. Naturally, there will be the odd exception which is justifiable.
