DESPERATE INTERSTATE GANGSTER ARRESTED IN A SENSATIONAL CASE OF ROBBERY CUM MURDER OF AN ACCOUNTANT IN EAST DELHI
The Outer District Special staff has arrested one desperate interstate gangster namely Deepak Soni @ Bhola (31 yrs.) s/o Sh. Mahender Singh r/o Vill. & P.O. Ghogha P.S. Narela Delhi, who was wanted in a sensational case of robbery cum murder of an accountant, committed in the area of P.S. Shakarpur, Delhi in broad daylight. One illegal 9 MM Semi Automatic Pistol along with 4 live cartridges has also been recovered from his possession.
BRIEF FACTS
In view of criminal activities of Bikers Gangs in Delhi, Outer District Special Staff was entrusted with the task of apprehending the criminals. Various teams were deployed to gather intelligence in this regard. On 15.11.08, Ct. Prem No.1256/OD of special staff received secret information that one interstate gangster involved in recent robbery cum murder of an Accountant in Shakarpur area will come to Village Karala to meet some of his associates.
Acting upon the secret information, a special team of Special Staff, Outer District was formed under the guidance of Sh. A. S. Bajwa, ACP/Operations and under the supervision of Inspector Narender Beniwal comprising of SI Jasmohinder Chaudhari, SI Sanjay Gade, SI Samarpal Singh, HC Naresh Kumar, HC Ramesh, HC Surender Dahiya, HC Rohtash, Ct. Prem, Ct. Pawan, Ct. Anoop, Ct. Rakesh and Ct. Surender. On 15.8.08 the police team lead a trap in Village KARALA in the area of PS Kanjhawla and apprehended the desperate criminal Deepak Soni @ Bhola along with an illegal 9 MM Semi Automatic loaded Pistol in his possession. He is one of the most desperate killers wanted by Delhi police in a month old robbery and murder case of P.S. Shakarpur reported vide FIR No. 354/08 dt. 8.07.08 u/s 392/394/397/302 IPC. There was a lot of resentment and panic among the traders of the area after the incident. Three accused namely Hari Kishan @ Hari, Yogesh @ Hari Om @ Dharmender and Arun Sharma were arrested by East District Special staff in this case in the 2nd week of August but Deepak Soni @ Bhola, the gang leader, was evading his arrest till now.
Profile:
Accused Deepak Soni @ Bhola belongs to the most infamous "Babloo Gang" operating in Northern India. The Gang comprises of about 18 very desperate killers, who are involved in hundreds of cases of Murder, Dacoity, Robbery, Attempt to Murder, Extortion etc. in at least five states in Northern India. A few to be named are Babloo himself, Neeraj, Hari Kishan @ Hari, Yogesh @ Hari Om @ Dharmender, Arun Sharma. They are so desperate that they don't even hesitate to fire on police personnel on duty. Some criminals namely Satish Punch, Sanjay Jat and Gurbachan of the same Gang have died in encounters with police in Delhi & Uttrankhand. Accused Deepak Soni @ Bhola is the elder brother of Amit @ Babloo, who is also the Gang leader and is known to be operating his Gang from inside the jail. Babloo is presently lodged in Bhondsi Jail, Gurgaon, Haryana. Deepak @ Bhola took charge of the Gang after his brother Babloo was lodged in Jail in a double murder case and a robbery case last year. Babloo is facing trial in at least four murder cases of Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Deepak @ Bhola was arrested for the first time in 1999 in an attempt to murder case of P.S. Narela and has 5 criminal involvements so far.

FIVE PERSONS PLANNING TO COMMIT DACOITY ARRESTED
COUNTRY MADE PISTOL, KNIVES AND IRON RODS RECOVERED
With the arrest of five criminals Bhola r/o Sagarpur, Munna @ Ajay r/o Sagarpur, Takkar @ Vicky r/o Sitapuri, Avinash r/o Dabri and Chinu s/o Omprakash r/o Dabri Delhi South West district police has prevented dacoity from being committed in the area of PS Dabri.
On the night intervening 15-16/8/08 a secret informer came to PS Dabri and informed SI Suresh Chand that 5-6 persons have gathered in a park behind MTNL office on Palam Dabri road who were planning to commit dacoity in the area of PS Dabri. The information was given to SHO/Dabri Insp. Prakash Khera who constituted a raiding team consisting of SI Suresh Chand, HC Rajender, Ct Roshan, Ct Hira Lal, Ct Anoop and Ct Mahender and were briefed.
On the instance of secret informer the team surrounded the place where the accused persons were planning to commit dacoity in the house of one Doctor of Dashrathpuri, Dabri. One loaded country made pistol, two knives and two iron rods (house breaking implements) have been recovered from their possession. A case vide FIR No. 460/08 u/s 399/402 IPC & 25/27/54/59 Arms Act PS Dabri has been registered in this regard.
Accused Munna has studied upto class 3 and then left studies. Chinu is illiterate, Takkar is 8th pass. Accused Avinash and accused Bhola have been previously found involved in cases of auto lifting and pick pocketing respectively. Bhola was recently released from jail where he was lodged in a case of pick pocketing from PS Dabri.
Further investigation is in progress.

CLUELESS MURDER CASE SOLVED
With the arrest of 3 accused persons namely 1. Sikander R/o Sita Puri, Delhi 2. Manoj @ Lala R/o Dabri, New Delhi 3. Jeevan R/o Dabri, New Delhi all aged approx. 19 years, the local police of P.S. Dabri has worked out a clueless blind murder case in which an unidentified dead body of a male was found at VaishaliPark behind MTNL building in the morning of 08/08/08.
On 8/08/08 at 5.55 a.m. an information was received at Police Station Dabri that a dead body is lying at VaishaliPark behind MTNL building. Police team reached at the spot and found a dead body of a young male of approx. 22/23 age, having a stab wound on chest. A case vide FIR No. 451/08 U/S 302 IPC P.S. Dabri was registered and investigation of the case was taken up by Inspr. Abhinendra Jain.
During the course of investigation after vigorous efforts , the dead body was identified to be of Yashwant Singh S/o Bhagwant Singh R/o RZ A-4/248 Durga Park, Dabri, Delhi, who was unmarried , residing at the above address with his father and was a native of Distt. Almora Uttranchal . The deceased was working as a labour in a mobile charger manufacturing unit at Maya Puri, Delhi
Initially it appeared to be a clueless murder. A team under the supervision of ACP/Dwarka consisting of Inspr. Prakash Khera and Inspr. Abhinendra Jain was constituted who developed criminal intelligence & put into motion the eyes and ear scheme with the help of beat and Division officers particularly SI Gyanender Rana, SI Surender Chahal, SI Narender Kumar, ASI Naresh, HC Ramdhan, Ct. Chet Ram, Ct. Ramesh and Ct. Sanjay. The continuous and sustained hard work of the team resulted in zeroing on one Sikander S/o Prakash Singh behind the murder of Yashwant Singh. During further investigation it came to notice that Sikander was on run and was not present in Delhi. Teams were constituted and raids were conducted at possible hideouts. The efforts bore results and Sikander was nabbed and arrested on 14/08/08. During interrogation he admitted to have robbed and stabbed the deceased Yashwant and also disclosed the names of his associates as Manoj @ Lala and Jeevan Kumar who were instrumental in this crime. The weapon of offence a knife and one shirt of accused Manoj @ Lala has also been recovered having blood stains of deceased Yashwant Singh, on their instance.
Accused Sikander could hardly complete his education upto 3rd standard and was doing work of white wash. He got involved in bad company and indulged in petty offences however no criminal record has been found against him. Accused Manoj @ Lala is working as a sweeper under MCD contractor and accused Jeevan is working as gardner.
The motive behind the murder was robbery and Rs. 250/- were robbed from the deceased who when opposed it, was stabbed in the chest by Sikander with the help of his two associates. All the accused persons were arrested on 14/08/08 and have been sent to judicial custody.
Further investigation of the case is in progress.

NOTORIOUS INTER-STATE PIRATE JITENDER MEHTA @ RINKOO ARRESTED
Special staff of West District has arrested Jitender Mehta @ Rinkoo, one of the most notorious pirates involved in piracy of newly released hindi movie at inter-state level.

Rahul s/o Gyan Chand Mehta R/o R/o 291-292, Old housing board colony, Bhiwani, Haryana;
Mukammil S/o Mubarak R/o Village Mohammedaba, P.S. Gulawati, Bulandhaha, aged, 19 years.
INCIDENT AND TEAM
On 14.08.2008, a secret information was received at Special Staff, West Distt. about the accused Jitender Mehta @ Rinkoo, who is involved in pirated VCDs/DVDs of newly released films. Acting on this information, a joint team of Special Staff and Anti Snatching Cell of West Distt. led by Inspr. Digvijay Singh, SI Manoj, SI Santokh Singh, ASI Shiv Kumar, HC Dilbagh, Ct. Giri Raj, Ct. Shahji laid a trap near Wave Cinema, Raja Garden and arrested accused Jitender Mehta @ Rinkoo while he has come to deliver the four rolls/prints of new Hindi film 'GOD TUSSI GREAT HO' which is to be released on 15.08.2008. A case FIR No. 415/2008 U/s 63/65 Copy Right Act, and 420/120-B IPC was registered at PS Rajouri Garden on 15.08.2008.
On sustained interrogation, he disclosed about a room in Pahar Ganj where the team has conducted raid and his younger brother Rahul along with co-accused Mukammil were found filming remaining rolls of the film on Handycam. The room was virtually converted into a mini laboratory with equipments like Projector, Sound record/mixture, Computer, Handycam, Mega-Amplifier etc. A larger number of inlay cards of the latest hindi movies were also recovered from the room. Similarly, a large number of DVDs of newly released movies like THE MUMMY, UGLY AUR PUGLY, SINGH IS KING etc. were also recovered from the room.
During interrogation, it is revealed that accused was staying in a room at M.D.International Hotel, Pahar Ganj and also taken a room on rent nearby for filming the newly released movies and preparing DVDs. It is also pertinent to mention that in a similar incident about three months back Rahul, the younger brother of Rinkoo was arrested for illegally filming the Hindi movie, "Bhootnath" at Fun Cinema, Moti Nagar with a Handycam along with his associates. At that time, Jitender Mehata managed to flee from the spot and is wanted in that case.
MODUS OPERANDI
The accused used to get in touch with agents responsible for distributing/delivering the rolls/prints of new movies in various parts of the country. After conniving with them, he used to get the original rolls of the movie and used to film the movie on handycam, after playing it on the projector which is recovered from the room Once, the movie is shot on the handycam, it is converted in the DVD which is called a Master DVD and thereafter thousands of VCDs/DVDs are prepared after copying from the master DVD. These pirated VCDs/DVDs are circulated in the markets of Delhi and other cities. He was also supplying the inlay cards for these VCDs/DVDs. These pirated VCDs/DVDs are causing a great loss to the whole film industry as well as to Government.
The accused Jitender Mehta @ Rinkoo is found to be involved in these activities last 7 years and number of cases are registered against him at P.S. Connaught Place, Moti Nagar, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, U.P.etc.
Further investigation are on to identify the agents involved in these activities and to arrest other accused.
