A complete list of the specific types, their individual amounts and the respective safety forms must be handed over to the ship’s management prior to the beginning of the cruise (according to the German ‘Gefahrengutverordnung SEE’, see attached reference ‘Transport of dangerous Goods’).

The complete list of chemicals and radioactive material should be made available to Briese Shipping Company. and ‘Leitstelle Maria S. Merian’ at least 10 days before departure.

Transportation, diplomatic procedures and onboard handling of radioactive materials deserves special attention. The Rules of the German “Strahlenschutzverordnung” must be respected.
