Module II, Managing Quizzes

Yes NoAdd your mock student to the training course. If you do not have a mock student, submit a request for a D2L Mock Student to the . They will create a student with an “M” added to your “A” number; for example, MA00001111. Add your mock student to the training course as a banner_student. See the Introduction Module (To add another teacher to your course). The only difference is that you will select banner_student. Take Quiz 1 and answer the questions as follows: (1) True (2) True (3) Course home. Submit the quiz. Logout.

Yes NoLogin to your training course using your teacher logon. Review each of the quiz settings for Quiz 2. Set the release dates to cover a three-day period beginning today. Set the time to open the test at 8 a.m. on the first day and close at 11:55 p.m. on the last day. Set the submission view to allow students to see all test questions and answers. Give Special Access to Lyle.Mockstudent3. Choose any other options as desired. Preview the test.

Yes NoClick on the grade icon for Quiz 1 and look at the scores for your mockstudent.Give your mockstudentadditional points for Question 3. Clear the final score and recalculate. Add feedback comments for the entire test.

Module III, Managing Assignments

Yes NoCreate a new assignment folder. Name it Assignment 1. As you create the assignment, include instructions and create a grade item. Save the assignment folder.

Yes NoEdit “Assignment 1” and make the assignment available today and set it to be due four days from now and to end six days from now. Add it to the calendar. Give special access to your mock student. Give the student one additional day to submit the assignment before it is due and one day before it ends. Add it to the calendar for the special access student.

Yes NoCreate a new assignment and name it Assignment 2. Make it available for one week.

Yes NoLogon to NS Online (D2L) as your mock student. Submit a Word file of your choosing to Assignment 2. Enter comments, if desired. Login to NS Online (D2L) using your teacher logon. Click on “Assignment 2” then choose your mock student. Click on “leave feedback.” View the assignment in the D2L viewer. Assign a grade and leave general feedback for the assignment.

Module IV, Discussions

Yes NoCreate a new forum named “Class Discussion Forum.” Make the forum always visible.

Yes NoCreate a new topic named “Discussion 1.” Set the topic to be unlocked from “now” until three days from today. Create a description of the message that is relevant to a course you teach. Set the topic to be evaluated.

Yes NoPost 2 new discussion messages as examples in the Discussion 1 topic.

Yes NoEvaluate the first message that you posted.

Yes NoDelete the second message that you posted.
