CHARMS Music Software: Guyer High School

CHARMS is a music organization software program used by all music groups in Denton ISD. It allows the director, student, and parents to track student information, schedules, fundraising, forms turned in, fees paid, choir calendar, and much more. It is a way for me to post documents to you to download if you use them. It also enables me to send mass e-mails to each choir student/parent to keep you better informed. It is very important that your information (particularly student & parent e-mail addresses) is correct.

To access CHARMS:

  1. Using your Internet browser, go to
  2. Half way down the page, on the left enter our school code with no spaces: GuyerChoir.
  3. From here, you can e-mail the director, view the choir calendar and handbook, as well as any other forms posted.
  4. To access your student’s account, enter his or her school ID number where it says “Enter Student Password.”
  5. It is recommended that you change your password from your ID number. To do this, click “Change Password.” Then enter your ID number as your old password and choose a new one. Re-enter this new one to confirm the change.

Please complete the following to receive full credit. This will allow you to receive e-mails from Mr. Evans about upcoming choir events. This list is purely used by Guyer HS Choir and will not result in spam.

  1. Using the steps above, log into your account.
  2. Click the “Student Info” link.
  3. Fill in all the white boxes on the page. Be especially sure to include accurate phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Please use proper grammar, capitalization, etc.
  4. Under “Occupation/Skills,” please list each parent’s occupation as well as any skills they may be willing to share with the choirs.
  5. If your parent is willing to volunteer on various projects/trips as needed, please click “Volunteer.” There will be a list of events that pops up; select the ones that you will be willing to chaperone/volunteer.
  6. Be sure to click “Update” (top right) when you’re finished, otherwise your information will not be saved.

This assignment may be done at home on your personal computer, or at any computer with Internet access. In the event that you forget your password and cannot log into your account, e-mail Mr. Evans at .
