Adonai-Jehovah -- The Lord our Sovereign (289)

(Deutronomy 3) 24 "O Sovereign LORD, you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do?

(Acts 4)24When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. "Sovereign Lord," they said, "you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.

El-Elyon -- The Lord Most High (14)

(Psalm 91) 9 If you make the Most High your dwelling— even the LORD, who is my refuge- 10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.

(Luke 1) 32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."

El-Olam -- The Everlasting God (10)

(Isaiah 40) 28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

El-Shaddai -- The God Who is Sufficient for the Needs of His People (1)

(Philippians 4) 19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Jehovah-Elohim -- The Eternal Creator (18)

(Genesis 1) 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

(Ephesians 2) 10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Jehovah-Jireh -- The Lord our Provider

(Genesis 22) 8 Abraham answered, "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." And the two of them went on together.

(1 Corinthians 10) 13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Jehovah-Nissi -- The Lord our Banner

(Exodus 17) 15 Moses built an altar and called it The LORD is my Banner.

Jehovah-Ropheka -- The Lord our Healer

(Exodus 15) 26 He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you."

(Luke 5) 17One day as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law, who had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem, were sitting there. And the power of the Lord was present for him to heal the sick.

Eternal, sovereign, and most high Lord: I thank you for creating me in your image, and for being sufficient for my needs, my provider, my healer and my banner. Amen
