Character Analysis Open-Ended Response Project (Advanced Class)

Project Assignment:

Choose 5 characters from the novel Tears of a Tiger. For each character, attach a picture of what you think the character may look like, and write a one-paragraph description answering the following open-ended response question.

Question:

According to the novel, what contributions did ______(fill in character’s name) make to the book?

Describe the character’s appearance, overall personality, problems or issues, and personal contributions.

Give examples from the novel to explain your response. (Must be answered in 5-7 sentences)

Note: The project must be done on a foam poster board or a tri-fold display board. These boards may be purchased at your local Wal-Mart, Dollar-Tree, or any other Convenience store. Pictures may be found in newspapers, in magazines, on the Internet, or neatly drawn. The project may be handwritten or typed; however, always remember that neatness counts. For Gerald’s ninth birthday, she made pancakes with maple syrup, and bought him a shiny red bike. She died on Gerald’s ninth birthday.
