Use your cost analysis results from Chapter Four and add your design fees to the cost of the event.

Using Preston’s business advice on pricing strategy determine your overhead, direct cost, mark up, operational margins and any pricing adjustments for your event design and installation.

Prepare a Scope of Work proposal and include an outline of what services you will provide along with the total cost to implement your event design.

Complete and submit forms 5.1 and 5.2 from the SWED Resource Library and submit them through the Assignment Submission Page.

5.1 List only the companies you have chosen to produce the event and add their fees and your markup and/or overhead formula. You may decide to add 15% to the cost per service vendor or 100% mark up on custom design creations. For example, if a centerpiece is created by a vendor and it cost you $50.00 you would charge your client $100.00 if using a 100% mark up.
