  1. IBC Class
    The ChapComm approved 8 AM to 12 AM, Friday, May 15 for class; $1500 to $2000 for speaker including course material; $100 for registration; water, caff and decaff coffee and condiments all morning; 15 minute break with donuts, lunch on their your own in cafeteria; payment to TxDot for room with $500 of free registrations.
    Rheuben has contacted developer/speaker for course content.
    James has reserved the TxDOT room

Rheuben to distribute course syllabus when received
Mike, from past experience, to develop lists of actions we need to take before class and at class
James to confirm coffee, etc., check on hot water for tea, provide lunch estimate for cafeteria

  1. Financial Status
    Don reported that as of Feb 28 we were within one percent of the Feb budget increment.
    Don also reported quick response on Stacy’s reimbursement.

    Most 2009 programs are confirmed; the rest are tentative; and programs are still required for the beginning of 2010.

  1. General Meetings Menu
    All thanked Mike for his work on the menu and registration system.
    The ChapComm approved the new menu.
/ Mike to print new menu for the meeting and revise registration program to use new numbers.
  1. General Meetings Equipment
    Mike bought a paper cutter and supplies.
    James bought printer ink and provided a voucher.
    James donateda printer to PES (indefinite loan).

Mike to pursue purchase of a back up projector bulb.
  1. General meeting Registration and Receipts
    Don reported the new registration system went well despite a lack of ink. The manual back up system was tested and found to work satisfactorily.

    Catalina advised that her workload and evening classes make it difficult for her to keep up with email. If you have something you need posted immediately, please call her cell phone.

    Mike elected Secretary.

  1. CTS Officers Meeting, San Marcos.
    Rheuben provided a report. We are doing well.

  1. ChapComm meetings
    The ChapComm moved the July and September meetings to the second Wednesday at TxDot because of meeting room conflicts.

  1. PES Region 5 Meeting
    Rheuben announced the PES Region 5 meeting to be held in LubbokTX.

The next regular monthly ChapComm meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14. Meetings are the second Wednesday in July and September and the second Tuesday of each other month in 2009. All meetings will be at TxDot unless the chapter membership is notified otherwise on the Website..
The Chair calls special ChapComm meetings only when needed for special issues. The date, time, and locations of each meeting is announced on the chapter Website.
