Includes various responsibilities like following up with the experiments and taking readings, guiding the students to do the experiments, maintaining practical records, practical demonstrations, maintaining registers , conducting practical examinations , Maintaining stock registers in the laboratory, maintenance of laboratory apparatus and equipments, and other laboratory related works.

Project Details:

This prestigious project, backed by His majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said is based on the fact that various weeds were developing resistance towards the herbicides used against them. We were focusing on the types of resistance that they exhibit on the molecular level. For this, detailed DNA analyses of the resistant varieties are compared with those of the non resistant ones.
