2015 Annual Chairman’s Awards

The Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce recognizes the businesses and the people of your chamber membership who have put forth outstanding efforts in their work and in their community. Nominate a fellow member you believe has demonstrated strengths in the required criteria for the year 2014.
You are asked to nominate a chamber member and their affiliates for one of these categories: Community Impact, Excellence in Small Business, Excellence in Business and Rising Star. Nominations will be accepted until 5:00pm November 24th, 2014.
A committee will review the nominations and select the recipients. 2015 award recipients will be announced the first week of December.
All nominees must
- Be a member in good standing
- Complete a nomination form
- Maximum one page narrative fulfilling award requirements

Community Impact Award
The Community Impact Award is presented to a non-profit that has made a difference in the lives of the people/groups they serve.
Requirements:
●Be a 501(c) 3
●Demonstrate outstanding contributions to the community
●Show benefits of service and how they set organization apart
Excellence in Small Business (business with 1-9 employees)
The excellence in Small Business Award recognizes a business that has attained significant growth and is able to demonstrate the specific strategies and processes implemented to achieve sustainable growth.
Requirements:
●Business growth and improvement
●Good financial health
●Quality customer service
●Staying power
●Overall excellence in the marketplace and community contributions
Excellence in Business (businesses with 10 or more employees)
The excellence in Business award recognizes a business that has attained significant growth and is able to demonstrate the specific strategies and processes implemented to achieve sustainable growth.
Requirements:
●Business growth and improvement
●Good financial health
●Quality customer service
●Staying power
●Overall excellence in the marketplace and community contributions
Rising Star Award
This Award celebrates Brunswick County’s highest performing new companies and recognizes those that have exceeded initial targets for growth and financial performance; best demonstrated an understanding of their competitors, customers, and the markets they operate in and have the foundations in place for continued commercial success.
Open to any Brunswick County Chamber organization that has been in business for at least one year but no more than three years.
Requirements:

●Potential for sustained growth
●Innovation in products, services or processes
●Customer and staff engagement
●Effective leadership and management
●An ethical approach to business
●Strong business results
●Market penetration
