Object Crosswalk Excel Worksheet Creation Guide
Introduction:
An agency may use the DFS Excel worksheet to have Object Crosswalk data uploaded into FLAIR. The Object Crosswalk file allows only the addition or deletion of a record. To update a record, you must delete the existing record and then re-add it. This can be accomplished in the same Excel upload spreadsheet. The upload process will perform all DELETEs first; then it will process all ADDs. All alphanumeric characters must be uppercase. The first row in the spreadsheet must be a security header record. Because the field lengths in the security header record do not match the field lengths in the Object Crosswalk detail records, some of the security header records must be broken up into multiple cells.
