Certificate Course in
RemotivationTherapy
History of Remotivation Therapy (RT)
In 1956, Dorothy Hoskins Smith, an English literature teacher in California, developed RT during World War II while working as a volunteer with the mentally ill people in a veteran hospital.
Her remarkable success with the Remotivation method spread across the United States. Hundreds of nursing professionals were trained as the Remotivation therapists.
In 1974, the Association of Remotivation Therapists of Canada (ARC) was set up in Canada. In 1984, the Remotivation Therapist Association of Ontario (RTAO) was formed as one of the regional chapters of the ARC. Presently ARC is affiliated with the organizations of Remotivation Therapists in Australia and United States.

About Remotivation Therapy
