Sir,
Sealed limited tenders are invited under two bids systems from the agencies who have the experience of manufacturing and supplying of Canvas Bags with the following specifications:

Tender Form with both the bids duly complete in all respect and properly sealed alongwith EMD should be kept in a bigger envelope superscribing “sealed tender for canvas bags” be sent in the Board’s office so as to reach the undersigned on or before 5/12/2007 upto 3:00 p.m. The technical bid shall be opened on the same day at 3:00 p.m. in the presence of tenderers who may like to be present. Incomplete tenders or those without EMD shall be rejected. The date for opening the financial bids shall be intimated to the tenderer who qualifies the technical bids.

The Secretary CBSE reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.

Details of specifications of Canvas Bags and terms and conditions.

4. Stitching Triple stitching shall be done on the bags. Only one stitching should be visible from out side. The upper edges (the mouth) should be strengthened by giving a dual fold to the cloth and also by healthy thread stitching.
5. Steel rings eight steel rings shall be affixed on the upper edge.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. No tender will be accepted after expiry date and time.
2. The rates should be quoted for delivery upto CBSE godown including all taxes.
3. Earnest Money of Rs. 10,000/- shall be accepted in the form Bank Draft only drawn in favour of the Secretary CBSE payable at Delhi.
4. No change/correction is allowed in tender in any case after the submission
of tender form in the office.
5. Base of the bags shall be thick with double/triple cloth super quality canvas of the desired specifications with 8 steel rings are to be affixed on the upper edge.
6. Samples of the bags can be seen at IInd floor, Room No. 207, ‘C’ Block of the office during office hours.
7. The successful agency shall have to submit the Performance Security of Rs. 25,000/- in the form of Account Payee Demand Draft, FD Receipt from a Commercial Bank. Performance Security should be valid for 60 days beyond the date of all contractual obligations with the agency.The EMD will be refunded after receiving the Performance Security Deposit without any interest.
8. The agency shall supply the bags within 15 days or as specified in the work order from the date of placement of order, to the store-keeper at CBSE, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi-110092.
9. In case of any deviation in the specification of the bags, it will be subject to rejection of whole supply at the risk of the tenderer.
10. The quantity of canvas bags may increase or decrease as per requirement
11. The Board reserves the right to forfeit part or whole of the earnest money security deposit if the supplier fails to supply within the prescribe period or in accordance with the specification and samples or there is any breach of the terms of the contract on the part of the supplier.
12. The rates quoted shall be valid for one year only but can be extended for another year with the consent of both the parties.
13. A penalty may be imposed by the Competent Authority @5% on the total bill amount against short and late supply or as deemed fit.
14. Bill in duplicates should be submitted for payment within 15 days after the completion of allotted work order.
15. No advance payment shall be made. Payment against bills shall be made after the completion of the entire job.
16. Pan Number of the agency must be given.
17. TDS/W.C.T will be deducted from the bill as per rule.
18. The Board deserve the sole right to accept and reject any or all tender without assigning any reason.
19. In case of dispute, the Chairman’s decision shall be binding on the parties.
20. The jurisdiction for all kind of disputes will be Delhi/New Delhi.
