PLANNING GUIDE

System

  • Thermally broken aluminium frame and panel profile system
  • Floor mounted system with concealed running gear
  • To suit openings up to 2800mm high and 6000mm wide.
  • Independent testing of a three-panel system (W x H 2700 x 2300 mm) with doubleglazing with an Ug – 1.2 W/m2K value, low E coating and thermally improved outer edge, an Uw = 1.81 W/m2K was achieved according to BS-EN ISO 10077-1.
  • Independent testing of a three-panel system (W x H 2700 x 2300 mm) with triple glazing with a Ug – 0.9 value, low E coating and thermally improved outer edge, a Uw = 1.55 W/m2K was achieved.
  • Air permeability Class 2 according to EN 1026, with water permeability to Class 7A EN 1027 and wind loads Class A3 according to EN 12211 was achieved.

Frame

  • Exterior dimension of frame is determined according to the opening. Allow for fitting.
  • Sills are available in following options:
  • Easy access sill, outward opening: 75mm x 200mm
  • Compact sill, outward opening: 75mm x 140mm
  • Low profile sill, inward or outward opening: 55mm x 131mm
  • Flat sill, inward or outward opening: 35mm x 131mm

Panels

  • Maximum panel size = 2700mm x 1000mm with a maximum panel weight of 80kg. Panel size depends on type of glass to be used. If necessary, increase number of panels.
  • Panels are square cut and joined with screw and bolt fixed connection blocks.
  • Interlocking panels with 70mm frame and panel profiles

Sealing

  • Frames are available as double rebated and double sealed.
  • Triple inter-panel sealing is available in a high acoustic performing foam and TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) seals.

Hardware

  • Running mechanisms incorporate sealed bearings and stainless steel washers for corrosion resistance.
  • Running mechanisms are vertically and laterally adjustable up to +/- 5mm to accommodate for building settlement.
  • Inter-panel lock is available as keyed or non-keyed with a low-profile handle for easy stacking when doors are open.
  • All externally visible hardware have irremovable hinge pins for additional security.

Finish

  • System finishes available custom powdercoated according to RAL standard colours. To view Centor’s standard RAL colours visit
  • Sill available as natural anodised or custom powdercoated.
  • Running mechanisms available in natural anodised, brushed metallic stainless, RAL9016 matte white and RAL9005 matte black.
  • Inter-panel locking device available in stainless steel and aluminium substrate.
  • If stainless steel, choose finish of stainless steel, PVD gold or PVD black.
  • If aluminium, choose finish of satin metallic powdercoat, bronze powdercoat, RAL9016 matte white or RAL9005 matte black.

Glazing

  • Available in double or triple glazed options in choice of 24mm, 28mm and 44mm thicknesses.
  • Removable glazing rubbers allow for simple pane replacement at a later date.
