Reasons for the nomination
v  Best Feature in Business Journalism - Stories on Management and Business strategies (print and online only) can be nominated in the Business Journalism category
v  Best Feature in IT Journalism - Stories on Information Technology and Technology (print and online only) can be nominated in the IT Journalism category
v  Best Good News Feature - This is a new award category introduced this year. Stories that have appeared in the print & online media, blogs and videos can be nominated in this category. Stories that bring to light the positive, uplifting and inspiringnews published in any of the above mentioned channels can be nominated in the ‘Best Good News Feature’ category.

Please Note:

·  For Best Feature in Business & IT Journalism, only stories that have appeared in the print and online media between January 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017 can qualify for the 19th Annual PoleStar Awards. Only a journalist who works fulltime for the Indian print or online media is eligible for this category of award

·  For Best Good News Feature, stories that have appeared in the print & online media, blogs and videos between January 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017 can qualify for the 19th Annual PoleStar Awards. A journalist who works fulltime for the Indian print or online media or a blogger who inspires, shares, likes and forwards articles or stories which showcases positive impact in the society is eligible for this category of award

·  Self nominations by the journalists/bloggers are welcome

·  A journalist/blogger can nominate fellow journalists and bloggers for the awards

·  An article (except videos) written by multiple journalists and bloggers CANNOT be nominated.

·  The Video nomination for Best Good News Feature category should be in HINDI or ENGLISH and not in any other language

·  For Best Feature in Business & IT Journalism, a journalist is entitled to send TWO entries PER category

·  For Best Good News Feature category, a journalist/blogger is entitled to send maximum of TWO entries

·  Please note that interviews cannot be nominated

·  A journalist/blogger MUST state the reasons why he/she believes the article or the video deserves an award

·  All nominations should be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to

·  The article submitted MUST be sent in a MS Word and PDF format. Videos should be in MP4 format and can be shared via WeTransfer or Google Drive

·  A journalist/blogger is required to fill a SEPARATE nomination form for every story submitted

·  Nominations are invited starting 15th June 2017

·  All nominations should reach The PoleStar Foundation latest by 15th July 2017
