CASAColumbia Unveils New Interactive, Mobile- and Tablet-Friendly Website
New Website Includes a Searchable Library, New Guide to Finding Quality Addiction Treatment and Updated Media Room

The newCASAColumbia.orgwill deliver relevant and factual information on addiction and substance use. This online resource will focus on such important topics as:

Tools for Patients
In addition to presenting our research in a bold new way, the new website contains a variety of useful tools for patients, such as an online screening tool designed to help someone determine if he or she might be using addictive substances in ways that increase his or her chances of harmful consequences, including addiction. The site also has a downloadable guide to finding quality addiction treatment, designed to help families and patients better understand this disease and find effective treatment.
Interactive Features
The website will include a digital map of state spending on addiction and risky use and infographics based on several of the organization’s reports. It will also feature short videos explaining the science behind the notation that addiction is a disease.
New Blog and Social Media Channels
Coinciding with the launch of the site will be the launch of The Buzz, CASAColumbia’s blog which will focus on the latest issues surrounding addiction and risky use. CASAColumbia will also launch several new social media channels like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
