* Requirement for International Rental:
A、Collision Insurance
Excluding vehicle damages resulting from drunk driving, unidentified damage, violations to the rental agreement, and activities not covered by insurance, the renter is only responsible for a NT$10,000 maximum repairing cost.
B、Theft Insurance/Total loss
90% Vehicle value of the vehicle is covered by insurance when stolen or total loss ( Renter shall be responsible for 10% of the Vehicle Value when the Vehicle is stolen or total loss.)
*※No extra depreciation charge when vehicle underaccident repairs.
C、Additional Third Party Liability
Up to NT$4,500,000 for each accident, including NT$500,000 on property loss. The above insurance policy does not include damages or loss arisen from natural disasters or severe weather (typhoon, earthquake, floods, etc.), or any damage to the equipement on the vehicles.
D、Passenger Liability
Up to NT$1,000,000 for each person.
E、Basic Third Party Liability (government required)
Up to NT$2,000,000.

※The above insurance policy does not include damages or loss arisen from natural disasters or severe weather (typhoon, earthquake, floods, etc.), or any damage to the equipment on the vehicles.
※During the car repair or the period of car stolen, the operating loss shall be the customer's responsibility. The compensation is up to 20 day's rental on the car's daily rate.
※The terms above applies to passenger cars only. For terms of trucks, please refer to the rental agreement of truck.

A、Please stay calm and keep the scene of the incident intact.
B、Dial 110 to call the police to help you.
C、DO not make any compromises or negotiations between you and the opposite party.Do not settle the accident in private and notify CARPLUS auto rental at once. (24 hours toll free line: 0800-222-568)
D、Renters are hold responsible for any loss in case of not being able to follow the instruction above. Please refer to the rental agreement for detailed information.
★Requirement for the international rental
1、An valid International driving permit acceptable by Taiwan Motor Vehicle Office.

※Note :
A、Visitor who stay in Taiwan within 30 days
※International driving permit is another evidence for driving permit, by Taiwan traffic law 55th article, it notes the international visitors who are from our reciprocal benefit countries, and have international driving permit and are doing 30 days short time stay in our country, they are allowed to drive without visa for international driving permit.
B、Visitor who stay in Taiwan over 30 days
※International driving permit is another evidence for driving permit, by Taiwan traffic law 55th article, it notes the international visitors who are from our reciprocal benefit countries, and have international driving permit and are doing 30 days short term stay in our country, they are allowed to drive with the valid international driving permit. However, if the visitor’s stay is over 30 days, then they will need to apply the visa for international driving permit to our governmental offices.
※The visa for international driving permit expires in 1 year time, if the international driving permit or the residence permit expired before 1 year time, then the deadline will base on the earliest date, and visitor will not be allowed to drive after this date.

★Blank ticket of credit card to prepare the police ticket
Payer (the credit card holder)will be deemed as the renter and have to present with his/her credit card when pick up the car. And non-residents have to sign a BLANK CREDIT CARD VOUCHER to cover the traffic violation fines, parking fees or any other charges that may occur.
(Sales slip is to covertraffic ticket, unpaid parking fees or any other charges that may occur during the rental. Sales slip will be voided 3 month after the rental.)
★Daily rate、Extension、Fuel、Mileage and Toll fee charge
※Daily Rate and extend for per hour：1 day equals to 24 hours. 10% of daily rate shall be charged for every overtime hour; another day's rental shall be charged late return for over 6 hours.
(Please notify Carplus Car Rental if you'd like to extend the rental. Carplus Car Rental has the right to refuse theextension.)
※Fuel : Customers shall return the vehicle at the same level of fuel tank.
Otherwise Carplus will charge for the fuel according to the fuel tank indicator.(Note 1)

※Toll fee on the freeway :
All of our rental car are equipped with Auto-pay freeway system. We will check the freeway system to know how much and the lessee have to pay when the lessee return the car. Please pay by cash . ※FETC :link

Weekday：Monday to Thursday
Weekend & Holiday：Friday to Sunday; National holiday and the day before National holiday
★Rental business hours:
8:30am ~ 8:30pm. (8:00am ~ 09:30pm. in HSR counters)Vehicles shall be picked up and returned during business hours at the rental locations.
★Customer’s Responsibility
※Parking fees, fine tickets or other bills during the rental contract.
※Operating loss arisen by car plate suspension due to the Customer's behavior.
★Cancellation policy (exclude Chinese new year )
If the customer cancel the order :
A) 1-3days before scheduled pick-up : Carplus will charge 100% deposit
B) 4-6days before scheduled pick-up : Carplus will charge 60% deposit
C) Over 7days before scheduled pick-up : Carplus will charge 30% deposit
★Cancellation policy (Chinese new year )
If the customer cancel the order :
A) Carplus will charge 100% deposit .
★ Renters must meet the age requirement of20-year-oldand driving license issued by R.O.C. Government.
★ Any matter or event not provided in the context of this website shall be operated pursuant to the rental contract of Carplus Auto Rental.
(Special policies and discounts applied for the Chinese New Year will be notified separately.)
*E-tag : Our rental car have E-tag inside. It is new freeway system which will charge into the E-tag freeway system while car pass the electric toll station. We will confirm the freeway system to know the toll rate after Lessee return the car.
