CARERS TOGETHER IN REDCAR & CLEVELAND (CARERS TOGETHER)

EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION FORM

CONFIDENTIAL

______

APPLICATION FOR THE POSITION OF:

______

AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER

Carers Together is an equal opportunity employer and is working to achieve a clear policy, the principle of which is stated overleaf.

Recruitment and selection is an area where it is important that the principles of equal opportunity are followed and it is the intention that the design of this application form should serve two purposes.

The front sheets covering sections 1 to5 will be used for equal opportunity monitoring purposes so Carers Together can collect statistical information about people who are applying for jobs, those who are shortlisted and those who are selected. This will help Carers Together check the effectiveness of its policy. This part of the form also contains information about your referees.

Section 6 - 13 of the application form will be used to select candidates.

To enable the equal opportunities procedures to operate efficiently applicants are requested to submit their details on the application form itself (including, if necessary, additional attached continuation sheets) but not to submit a curriculum vitae (CV).

This front sheet will be separated on receipt of the application form and treated as strictly confidential. Obviously, if you are selected for interview the selection panel will then need to be provided with some of the information contained in sections 1 to 5 (eg your name).

Please read the equalities statement overleaf and then complete all sections 1 to 13 of this application form before returning it.

EQUALITY STATEMENT

  • ensure that when employment decisions are made the only personal characteristics taken into account are those which, as well as being consistent with relevant legislation, are necessary for the requirements and proper performance of the work involved.

Carers Together welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

Carers Together welcomes job share applicants for all posts. Each of the sharers should complete a separate application form that should be submitted together. The applications should state how the responsibilities of the post are to be shared.
