Summary

YPJ capsule polisher is a capsule polishing device that adopts the discipline of brush polishing process and has the sorting function. It can not only remove the powder attached to the capsule and tablet, thus making their surfaces clean and bright, but also get rid of the capsule that is broken, empty, partially filled or separated. Besides, this machine can be applied to all types of capsule and doesn’t need to change the mold, so it’s necessary for the post-production process of capsules and tablets.

This machine, controlled by the circuit board which helps realize the stepless speed regulating, can satisfy the requirement of the different capsules, such as capsule sugar-coated tablets and plain film, on the polishing speed. In the meantime, the angle of inclination of the principal axis can be adjusted at will in a certain range so as to meet the need of different capsules on the polishing time. In addition, fixed with the casters under the base, the machine can be moved easily.

Machine Organization

This machine consists of the base, discharge hole, rack, single-phase machine, circuit board control system, polishing brush, stainless steel cover, mesh bag, charging bucket, vacuum cleaner and other parts (see Figure 1 and Figure 2). The polishing brush, driven directly by the circuit board control motor, can define the appropriate revolving speed according to the corresponding condition. After being put into the charging bucket, the capsule revolves with the brush and is delivered to the discharge hole along the bag, while the cleaned powder is collected by the vacuum cleaner. Besides, the rack can be used to adjust the working angle with the help of the fulcrum bar and locking handle.

Usage and adjustment of the machine

1、 Installation Machine can used on level ground , only with single phase Tripod socket

2When the machine is fixed well, plug in the power supply and place a vessel under the discharge hole, and then switch on the machine and let it idle (press the RUN/STOP key to switch on the vacuum cleaner). In the meantime, watch the working condition of the main vacuum cleaner and test the speed-governing performance. If the machine runs normally, put a few capsules or tablets in the charging bucket for polishing and adjust the revolving speed and rack angle respectively according to the surface appearance of the polished capsule till polish effect meets the requirement. After that, the full production can be begun. When a batch of capsules is completed polishing, the machines needs to idle for two minutes. Only when the powder in the delivery pipe is cleaned can the machine polisher another kind of capsule.

2、 Adjustment

A: adjustment of polishing time

Polishing speed The higher polishing speed often implies the higher surface finish quality. However, much too high polishing speed would break the capsule with low hardness. Therefore, the polishing speed should be selected rationally according to the specific condition of the would-be polished capsule. The polishing speed is adjusted by twirling the regulating knob on the control board.

B: adjustment of polishing speed

The retention period of the capsule in the polisher can be changed by adjusting the angle of inclination of the rack to change the altitude difference between the discharging hole and charging hole. The bigger the inclination angle is, the longer the polishing time will be, and vice versa. When adjusting the revolving speed, the back end of the rack must be supported with strength in case that the rack loses the equilibrium after the bolt is loosened and is then broken; next, adjust the inclination angle of the rack and tighten the bolt up again.

Attentions

1. The polishing brush can’t be successively used for more than seven days. It should be taken down, cleaned with alcohol and dried from time to time. If the sticky capsule like the oxytetramycin and amino acid is polished, the brush must be cleaned everyday to ensure the smoothness of the surface of the capsule.

2. The net is washed everyday in principle, or the operator can change and wash it according to the smoothness of the capsule. The net must be fixed well when installing it.

3. When taking down the brush, please loosen the fixing bolt on the sockets at the two sides of the principal axis and quit the fixing socket first, and then pull down the spanner on the two sides of the cylinder, hold the principal of the brush and pull brush out of the spring.

4. When installing the brush, please make sure the principal axis of the brush is fixed at the position exactly conforming to the semi-circle bearing pedestal, so as to reduce the noise and prolong the life span of the brush.

5. plug in the power supply and press down the key, and the machine runs. The discharging speed can be adjusted by controlling the height of one end of the operation cylinder. During the operation, the operator should pay attention to the temperature of the polisher. Generally, the machine should be halted every 30 minutes to release the heat.

6. The feeding to the charging hole of the polisher should be undertaken in constant intervals. If the polisher is filled to the full once, there will be too many capsules in the machine so that the vacuum cleaner is unable to absorb all the powder.
