Notes;

-For players entering in both the “slow: and “other” sections, these pieces will be performed one after the other – i.e. each performer will only appear once on stage

-Champion of Champions trophies will be awarded for the junior and senior competitorwith the highest combined score from the slow melody and ‘other’ events. In the event of a draw the higher score from the ‘other’ event will win.

-Veterans’ trophies will be awarded for the highest score by a competitor over the age of 55 in both the slow melody and other categories.

-Entrants must be under the age of the class on the day of competition.

-Junior groups must be made up of people under 19 or people registered with a junior band.

-The C/D grade solo competition is open to players who are registered with a C or D grade band only. Music selection is not subject to any restrictions. It is possible for a C or D grade player to enter in the Open or Championship section if they would prefer.

-* It is up to the individual to choose the appropriate class to enter. As a guide, championship participants will be nationally recognised players through national solos, national bands, or shall hold principal seats in their band.The CPBBA reserves the right to alter classes entered where applicable.

-Ensemble entrants do not have to be from the same band.Only one entry form and fee is required per ensemble group.
