“Can that faith save him?”
John 2:22-25
I. Jesus’ disciples demonstrated a ______faith (vs. 22).

2 Timothy 2:24-26
24The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all,able to teach, patient when wronged, 25with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition,if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading tothe knowledge of the truth, 26and they may come to their sensesand escapefrom the snare of the devil, having beenheld captive by him to do his will.
Matthew 3:8
Therefore bear fruitin keeping with repentance;
2 Corinthians 7:9-11
9I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful tothe point ofrepentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will ofGod, so that you might not suffer loss in anything through us. 10For the sorrow that is according tothe will ofGod produces arepentance without regret,leadingto salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death. 11For behold what earnestness this very thing, this godly sorrow, has produced in you: what vindication of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, whatlonging, what zeal, whatavenging of wrong! In everything you demonstrated yourselves to be innocent in the matter.
Romans 2:4-5
4Or do you think lightly of the riches of Hiskindness andtolerance andpatience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? 5But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heartyou are storing up wrath for yourselfin the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
Matthew 11:20-24
20Then He began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent.
21“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had occurred inTyre andSidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22Nevertheless I say to you,it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon inthe day of judgment than for you. 23And you,Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You willdescend toHades; for if the miracles had occurred inSodom which occurred in you, it would have remained to this day. 24Nevertheless I say to you thatit will be more tolerable for the land ofSodom intheday of judgment, than for you.”
