ALL Students attending Central, Shepherd, Grand Ridge and Marseilles Schools
Can Now play for the Ottawa National Little League (South Side).
This is due to the location of these schools in the League’s boundaries.
SIGN-UPS
Cost:
9-12 yr old- $125 and 1box of candy ($50 candy sales is yours to keep) = your total cost $75.00
· 6-8 yr old- $105 and 1 box of candy ($50 candy sales is yours to keep) = your total cost $55.00
Dates:
· First Sign-up- Saturday, February 7, 2015; 9:00am-1:00pm, at the Knights of Columbus 401 W. Main Street.
· Second Sign-up- Thursday, February 19, 2015; 6:00-9:00pm, at the Knights of Columbus 401 W. Main Street.
What age level or league will my child register to play?
· 6-8 yr old league- Participant born on or between dates of January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2009.
· 9-10 yr old league- Participant born on or between dates of May 1, 2004 and December 31, 2006.
· 11-12 yr old league- Participant born on or between dates of May 1, 2002 and April 30, 2004.
TRYOUTS
· Tryouts will be held Sunday March 15, 2014 at the Ottawa High School Gymnasium (West Gym).
Tryout Times
Noon – 1pm 6 yr old Evaluation
1:00 - 2:00pm 7=8 yr old
2:00 – 3:00pm 9-10 yr old
3:00 – 4:00pm 11-12 yr old
o Players need to bring their glove, gym shoes, and clothes they can run and move comfortably in.
o Player moving up to an older sibling’s age group does not need to try out and will be automatically placed on the team of the older sibling.
o Any player new to ONLL or player that is moving up to the next age level does need to try out.
o ALL 6 YEAR OLDS need to be evaluated to see if they are physically ready for catching, throwing and hitting.
o Draft will be held after tryouts. You will be contacted by your coach and be given further team information

ONLL encourages all eligible players to participate in Little League baseball. If you are currently experiencing financial troubles and concerned about the sign-up fee, please contact us.
