RULES OF ENTRY FOR THIS TRIAL

Entries will be accepted on the basis of those received on each day. Confirmations will be mailed or emailed to all entered with information regarding which classes you have entered and check-in times. Run order will be drawn before the trial.

Bitches in season may run in the drawn run order.

CLUB RULES FOR THE TRIAL

WSDC reserves the right to refuse an entry based on suitable causes only and in such instances, ASCA will be notified of the reasons. Every entrant must be in good standing with ASCA.

All dogs must be on leash when not competing in the ring. Please clean up after yourself and your dog. Safety shall always be of foremost consideration in actions and conduct by handlers at all times.

Any questions or problems should be brought to the attention of a WSDC member.

The trial committee is authorized to request that any dog which, in the committee’s opinion, represents a hazard to persons, dogs, or property be removed form the premises. Children must be kept under the direct supervision of an adult at all times.

No entry will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riot, civil disobedience, fire and act of God, public emergency, and act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee.

There will be no refunds in the event a dog and/or handler are dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for such dismissal. Refunds will be given for any dog injured if accompanied by a vet notification in writing or by email and is received before August 1, 2014. A refund will be the amount of the entry minus a $20 handling fee. Cheques not honored by the bank do not constitute a valid entry. There will be a $25.00 service charge for returned cheques.

No food, toys, other aids or devices will be permitted on the ring or within 10 feet of the rings at any time.

Please do not wander into barn areas.

You are responsible for damages to livestock.

Ducks are Runner/Runner-X’s, Buffs, Cayugas, Mixed crosses.

Sheep are St Croix, Rideau Arcott, Dorpcroix, Barb-X’s. Groups will be mixed

Cattle are Hereford/Dexter Crosses

Exhibitors are responsible for any injuries to livestock. Owners/Handler of dogs will be held responsible for all injuries to livestock during their runs. Replacement costs are: $25.00 per duck, $200 per sheep, and $400 per cattle

As of January 2003, all persons wishing ASCA to track scores towards ASCA titles, earned by their other breed dog at ASCA events, must register their dog with ASCA to obtain a tracking number. A one time tracking fee/dog of $10.00 along with a onetime 1 year full or service Membership to ASCA is required. Forms will be available on show grounds or at :

ATTENTION USA EXHIBITORS: Please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian Dollars. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however; they are to be payable in Canadian funds. If you send a cheque in U.S. funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry fee and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor.

Please do no mark cheques "Payable in Canadian Funds" or "At Par". They will not be cleared by the banks and we will not accept them as an entry. To simplify the process we urge that you purchase a bank draft or money order payable in Canadian funds.

PRIZES / AWARDS

Ribbons: Green Qualifying Ribbons, 1st through 4th in each division, High in Trial, High in Trial Aussie, and High in Trial Other Breed will be awarded

Ribbons/prizes must be picked up during the weekend. These WILL NOT be mailed.

Day of show: $35- ducks, $45 – sheep, $70 - cattle

These fees are per dog, per day, and per class. Pre-entries must be received by July 25, 2014. Entries received after July 25th are assessed as day-of-show fees. Entries must be on the ASCA forms, with the agreement on the back of the entry signed. You can download entry forms from ASCA’s website at: www.asca.org/Forms/ShowEntry.pdf OR at www.teecreek.com

No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the appropriate fee. Phone or fax entries will not be accepted. A waiting list will be maintained for each class of stock if entries exceed the available number of runs. If an owner pulls an entry and that space is filled from the waiting list, a refund shall be made.

MVA:

To earn the Most Versatile Aussie Award, each entry must earn a score from the Conformation Evaluation, a qualifying score from a regular Stockdog class and at least one qualifying score from a regular obedience, rally, or agility class. All rules per MVA rule book will be applied, except the following:

·  We will allow Rally Novice Obedience to count. Will deduct 25pts from score.

·  We will be awarding special MVA placement rosettes 1st – 6th and Qualifying ribbons

·  A special award will be given to the MVA recipient.

If you are interested in entering the MVA competition please fill out the included MVA form and submit it with your entries. Please note there is a $5 fee for the conformation evaluation. MVA conformation evaluations, performed by Ann DeChant, will be from 11 am to 12 pm, and again from 2 pm to 4 pm Saturday. Then last time will be on Sunday from 10 am to 11 am. . Each exam will be done individually and a board to sign up will be next to the ring.
