Campbellsville High School Cheerleading Tryouts
2013-2014
This year we will be building a competitive squad! We are looking for girls/guys willing to work hard! Expect your hard work to pay off! We are taking the spotlight back at CHS!!
Cheerleading Tryouts will be held May 7-May 10. Each day will be mandatory for anyone wishing to tryout. May 7 (6:00pm-8:00pm) May 8, 9, 10 (4:00pm-6:00pm). Tryouts will be held in the Campbellsville Elementary Multi-Purpose Room. Be ready to start 10 minutes prior to start times dressed in cotton shorts/pants, t-shirts, and tennis shoes. All tryouts will be closed to spectators.
Some gymnastics ability is expected. Like other sports, the Coaches will hand select the team. You will receive a copy of the score sheet at the first tryout date. Keep in mind that we will be able to see your hard work ethic and potential, not to mention attitudes (good or bad), throughout the week. If you are interested at all, show up and see what we are all about! Cheerleading may be the perfect fit for you!
If you are interested in trying out for the CHS Cheerleading Squad, you must:
- Be currently passing your classes.
- Complete and turn in ALL required forms on Tuesday May 7, 2013 at 6:00pm.
Return all required forms to the coaches as you enter for tryouts on Tuesday, May 7. Make sure you turn in ALL forms. (If a form is missing, you will be ineligible to tryout, there are no exceptions for this and you must participate every day to make the squad.) Below is a checklist to be sure you return all required forms.
____ Physical Examination form filled out by your doctor. (Anyone trying out MUST have a
physical. If you played a sport last year and the physical is still up to date you must get a copyand submit that form.)
