What’s Happening in Class:
Reading: We will be completing short answer or extended response questions for practice every night until testing begins.
Math: We will be completing nightly minute math practice and Extended Response Questions until testing begins. We will have a long division test Friday.
Science: Students will work on Study Island to improve and review skills and concepts.
Social Studies: Students will have a states and capitals test Monday. Our field trip to Frankfort is Wednesday, April 17th. Details are in your student’s Wednesday folder. Progress reports come home today.
Language Arts: We will begin a Poetry unit this week. Spelling words for the week will be a list of words whose vowels have no sound clues.
Important Dates and Information:
April 12th- CU Steel Band (Arts/Humanities Day)
April 17th- Field Trip to Frankfort
April 19th- Last day to check out materials from the library
April 22nd- 4th Grade Program at 1:30 and 5:30
April 26th- Last day to return materials from the library
April 29th- Kick off to Testing Party (2:00- 4:00 at CES)
April 30th-May 6th- KPREP Testing
*Field Trip permission forms and money are due by April 12th. *
