3 / Review Notes from November and December Meetings.
The CCWG approved the meeting notes from November and December, 2010.
4 / CCWG 2011 Leadership
Jim Lee, Direct Energy, was elected as CCWG Chair.
Rachel Patterson, Gexa, was elected as CCWG Vice-Chair.
5 / CCWG 2011 Goals and 2010 Accomplishments.
The CCWG finalized their list of 2010 Accomplishments and 2011 Goals. Jim Lee will present them to COPS February 8, 2011.
6 / Commercial Operations Handbook / J. Lee
  • Review progress and COPMGRR023 language

Jim Lee presented a draft of the Commercial Operations and Settlement Handbook. He explained how some of the sections will be divided and/or renumbered in order to better layout the material and designate ownership. The CCWG wrote the remaining ‘Overview’ paragraphs needed for sections where the content will remain in the COPMG, and the document purpose. The content from COPMGRR023 was added to the Handbook.
The CCWG assigned the following sections with instruction to bring drafts back to the next meeting.
Michelle Trenary – Handbook Section 13, Congestion Revenue Rights
Rachel Patterson – Handbook Section 14, Short Pay and Market Participant Default Process

  • New subsection 5.3, ERCOT Market Documents and Guiding Principles

Michelle Trenary handed off an outline of Guide Section 5.3, ERCOT Market Documents, to Market Rules. Sonja Mingo will speak with Kristi Hobbs about the section and the type of information we would like included.
8 / Clean up and Nodalize Section 8.1, Invoice Process

Mandy Bauld provided an updated version of the Invoice Process Flowchart and a couple of paragraphs to explain how ERCOT determines which operating days are included on an invoice. The CCWG included both work products in the Handbook.
9 / Section 7, Input to Settlements / J. Lee
Section 8 will become Section 7 and it will keep the same name. Section 7 will become Section 8 and will be renamed to Inputs to Settlement Algorithms. Section 8 will be the document SEWG is creating and they will maintain this section going forward. These sections need to be re-numbered in the Handbook and later they will be changed in the Guide with a COPMGRR. Section 9 of the Guide will become Section 14 and it will keep the same name. Section 9 will become the Data Aggregation section and will refer to the Load Aggregation User Guide being created by Don Tucker. A Generation Aggregation User Guide will need to be created next.

11 / COMPG Outline
The CCWG reviewed the COPMG outline and Jim Lee volunteered to make necessary revisions before the next meeting on February 24th.
12 / February Meeting Preparation (2/24/2011) / Team
COPMGRR025, Synchronization with NPRR291, Reduce the Comment Period for NPRRs and SCRs, is currently in its comment period. The CCWG will review COPMGRR025 in February and the IA in March. COPMGRR025 will go to COPS in April and TAC in May.
