MX REPORT: (Willie Watchel)

Kelowna’s trackisclosed. Willietalkedaboutdropping the annualtrackpassesinhalfasofJuly 15, 2015. ThiswillbepostedonthewebsiteandDennisRomboughwillinformtheshops. TheNationalswentwellandWilliewillinvoiceStallybrassfortheamountowedtotheclubfortheuseofthetrack. BrianJenkinsmadeamotiontopurchasea cultivatorfor $1650.00 foruseatthetrack, 2ndbyJari Heinonen, motion carried.

TRAIL MAINTENANCE: (PeterProchotsky)

Volunteersputin 22 hoursinJunetotalling 144 hoursoftrailmaintenance. Peter suggested not to use the chainsaws in July due to the fire danger. It is too hot to do any trail maintenance right now. Peter also posted some new signs.

X-COUNTRY: (KentAntoniak)

Ithasbeentoohotto work onthecoursefortheChuwhelsChallenge. Kentwillworkonorderingt-shirts.

PROMOTIONS: (VicBeisel)

InJunewereceived 2 newsponsorships. StuartPattonwasconcernedaboutthedifferentsponsorsfor GKMA andIceRacing. ItshouldnotbeaproblemasIceRacingisanevent. KimGrimwade suggested a sign or decal that could be posted at the sponsors place of business thanking them for sponsoring the GKMA.

MEMBERSHIPS: (Delphine Rombough)

Wecurrentlyhave 132 GKMA members. TrackPasssalesarebasicallyatparwithlastyear’ssales. DelphinealsotalkedabouttheChristmaspartyandaskedmemberstothinkaboutsuggestionsofwhatto do and where to go. Delphine will look into some options.

TRACK RELOCATION PROJECT: (Jari Heinonen)

Jari spoke to a representative from KGHM regarding land available for the track. Noise would not be a problem.

OLD BUSINESS:

The “NoParking” signsforthetrackhavenotbeen ordered, butSeanEvanishenwillorderthem. DelphinewasconcernedabouttheliabilityofatireswingthatwasputupatDuffyLake. DelphinecontactedtheMinistrytofindoutaboutthis.

NEWBUSINESS:

TerryCalderspokeabouttheLooseScrew. Theroutesarebeingplannednow.Nic Rombough would like to develop a membership list for the website and brighten up the colours. Kent Antoniak won the door prize of hand cleaner.
