Call for Artwork for Student Exhibition

PAEA membersare invited to submit works of art created by their students, in grades kindergarten through 12.

·  Only 2D work is permitted

Deadlines:

Send submissions via postal mail. Must be received (not postmarked) by October 15, 2017

All artwork must be received between: September 30 & October 15, 2017.

Pick up date and time: October 22, 2017 at The Sheraton (Grand Station 1) between 1 & 2 pm

*If not attending conference, return packing and prepaid postage must be included for artwork to be returned*

Required paper work for ALL entries:

Print, sign and includeone entry form per work submitted. A parent or guardian signature is required.
Securely adhere one entry form to the back ofeachartwork.

General:

·  NAEA/PAEA membership is REQUIRED for all educators to submit works of art to this exhibition. To become a member or to renew your membership, visit theNAEA membership website.

·  Teachers may submit up to 5 pieces per school.

·  Work will ONLY be exhibited if it complies with regulations on this prospectus and has affixed to it a complete entry form, including required signatures.

·  Artwork checklist:
√2D work should not exceed 26” x 26” including mats- NO FRAMES
√ Work must be ready to hang, including:

·  √ White or Black Matted with at least a 2” border around artwork
√ Place charcoal or pastel work under acetate or apply spray fixative
√ Each work must be in compliance with the guidelines. No exceptions.
√ One entry form must be securely attached to the back of each artwork.
