Application Information

For this application, libraries will apply by jurisdiction. Successful applicants will designate up to four staff members, volunteers, and/or partners to attend the Lab.The State Library will provide hotel accommodations and will reimburse travel costs up to $300.

We ask applicants to commit ongoing resources towards implementing the Harwood practice at their libraries. Libraries will be expected to create an action plan for Turning Outward to their communities and participate in coaching calls and California’s Harwood community of practice following the event.

  • Yes, we are currently implementing the Harwood practice and looking to train more staff.
