TANK CLEANUP FUND REGULATIONS
Below are links Enclosed is a copy toof the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking that announces the proposal by the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) to amend California Code of Regulations, title 23, division 3, chapter 18 (commencing with section 2803) relating to the Underground Storage Tank (UST) Cleanup Fund program (the Fund regulations). The Fund regulations implement the Barry Keene UST Cleanup Trust Fund Act of 1989, which is codified in chapter 6.75 of the California Health and Safety Code (commencing with section 25299.10). The Informative Digest portion of the notice explains the regulatory amendments being proposed.
You are invited to submit written comments within the 45-day comment period, which begins on the date of this letter and ends at 5:00 p.m., August 4, 2003. Any comments received after this deadline will not be considered. The SWRCB will address in the Final Statement of Reasons all comments timely received.
