Qualifier for TSR Riders Championships
HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE
A riding hat must be worn correctly fastened when mounted. Pony Club members must wear a hat that conforms to The Pony Club Appendix G – Hat Rule 2016and tagged with a Pony Club hat tag. Non-members are strongly advised to wear a riding hat that meets Pony Club standards.
The organizers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organizers and all officials and stewards.

RIDDEN CLASSES– Judge – Mrs Jane Barry
Maximum of 2 classes per horse/pony in Ridden Section
Class 1 - Lead rein pony. Mare or gelding 4yrs or over, not exceeding 122cm (12 hh). Rider not to have attained their 9th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
Class 2Novice First Ridden Pony. Mare or gelding 4 yrs or over, not exceeding 128cm (12.2 hh). Rider not to have attained their 10th birthday before 1st January in the current year (walk and trot only).
Class 3 - First Ridden Pony. Mare or gelding 4yrs or over, not exceeding 128cm (12.2 hh). Rider not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
Class 4 - Ridden Ponynot exceeding 138cm (13.2 hh). Mare or gelding 4yrs or over. Rider not to have attained their 15thbirthday before 1st January in the current year.
Class 5 – Ridden M&M Small Breeds
Class 6 - Ridden Pony exceeding 138cm (13.2 hh) but not exceeding 148cm (14.2 hh). Mare or gelding 4 yrs or over. Rider not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
Class 7– Ridden M&M Large Breeds
Class 8 - Mixed Height Best Ridden Coloured horse/pony
Class 9 - Mixed Height Best Ridden Cob Type
Class 10 - Small Riding Horse, 4 years old or over exceeding 148cm (14.2 hh) but not exceeding 158cm (15.2 hh).
Class 11 - Large Riding Horse, 4 years old or over exceeding 158cm (15.2 hh)
Class 12- Riding Horse/Pony aged 4-5 years
Class 13 – Veteran Horse/Pony – 16 years and over (please state age on entry form)

Class 17 - Nursery Stakes. Mare or Gelding, 4years and over not exceeding 133cms (13 hh). Rider not to have attained their 14th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Height of fencesmax 65 cm
Class 18 –OpenWHP. Mare or Gelding, 4 years and over not exceeding 133cms (13 hh). Rider not to have attained their 14th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Max height 80 cm
Class 19 - OpenWHP. Mare or Gelding, 4 years exceeding 133 cms (13 hh) and not exceeding 143cms.(14 hh) Rider not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Max height of fences 90cm
Class 20 – OpenWHP. Mare or Gelding, 4 years and over exceeding 143 cms (14 hh) and not exceeding 153cms. (15 hh). Rider not to have attained their 20th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Max height of fences 1 m
Class 21 – Open WHP. Mare or gelding 4 years and over, not exceeding 153cms (15 hh). Height of fences Max 95 cm
Class 22 – NOVICE WHP. Mare or gelding 4 years and over, not exceeding 153cms (15 hh). Riders 16 years and under. Height of fences Max 70 cm
Class 23 – NOVICE WHP. Mare or gelding 4 years and over, not exceeding 153cms (15 hh). Riders 17 years and over. Height of fences Max 70 cm
Class 24 – Intermediate WHP. Mare or gelding 4 years and over, not exceeding 153cms (15 hh). Riders 16 years and under. Height of fences Max 85 cm
Class 25 – Intermediate WHP. Mare or gelding 4 years and over, not exceeding 153cms (15 hh). Riders 17 years and over. Height of fences Max 85 cm
Class 26 – Working Hunter Cob Type – Height of fences max height 75 cm
Class 27 – Novice Working Hunter Horse - Height of fences max height 80 cm
Class 28 - Intermediate Working Hunter Horse - Height of fences max height 90 cm
Class 29 – Small Open Working Hunter Horse - Height of fences max height 1 m

HANDY PONY – one class per pony in this section

Class 31 - Ponies on lead rein – rider 8 years and under on 1/1/16.
Class 32 - Pony under 128cm (12.2 hh) – rider 11 years and under on 1/1/16
Class 33 - Pony under 148cm (14.2 hh) – rider 16 years and under on 1/1/16.
Ponies will be expected to complete a handy pony type course of obstacles, pop over a small fence, etc
PONY CLUB PONY – one class per pony in this section

Class 34- Ponies on lead rein – rider 8 years and under on 1/1/16.
Class 35 – Best PC Pony under 128 cm (12.2 hh)– rider 11 years and under on 1/1/16.
Class 36 – Best PC Pony under 148 cm (14.2 hh).–rider 16 years and under on 1/1/16.
Ponies will be expected to show PC Activities.
SHOWJUMPING
May enter 2 consecutive classes– To be judged using Pony Club Showjumping Rules 2016
Class 37 - Lead Rein Jumping–rider 8 years and under on 1/1/16
Class 38 – Mini Starters – jumps not to exceed 45 cm (1’6”)–riders 16 years or under on 1/1/16
Class 39- Jumps not to exceed 55cm (1’9”)–riders 16 years or under on 1/1/16
Class 40- Jumps not to exceed 55cm (1’9”) – riders 16 years and over
Class 41- Jumps not to exceed 70cm (2’3”) – riders 16 years or under on 1/1/16
Class 42 - Jumps not to exceed 70cm (2’3”) – rider 16 years and over
Class 43 – Jumps not to exceed 85cm (2’9”)– riders 16 years or under on 1/1/16
Class 44 – Jumps not to exceed 85cm (2’9”) – rider 16 years and over
Class 45 – Jumps not to exceed 90 cm including Turriff Show Open Junior Unaffiliated Showjumping Qualifier – For ponies 148cm(14.2 hh) and under with riders 16 and under. Clear round in the first round to qualify for the Final at Turriff Show on Monday 1stAugust 2016. To be run under British SJ Rules, Table A7, 325 mpm, British SJ rules, Height of jumps 90 cm
Class 46–Jumps not to exceed 90 cm – rider 16 years and over.
Class 47–Jumps not to exceed 1.00 m
Class 48- Jumps not to exceed 1.10m

Classes may not run in catalogue order so please arrive promptly for competition.
Classes may be split or amalgamated as necessary depending on entries received.
Please bear in mind that this is a one day show and competitors entering multiple classes will have to choose which to compete in if they clash. No class start will be delayed.
TSR Riders Championships
Classes 1-30 are qualifiers for the TSR Riders Championships. This Show is a qualifier for the 2016TSR Riders Scottish Regional Championships to be held 24thand 25thSeptember at Grand Slam Show, Ingliston EC, Bishopton. 1st & 2nd riders qualify andwill receive a qualification card in the ring.
