The LaptopTower LT FP2 wins an Interior Innovation Award 2011
Presentation at Cologne’s IMM and LivingKitchen from January 18th til 23rd 2011
The market has long waited for a clever and compact standing desk.
There it is and it was immediately awarded “Interior Innovation 2011”.
The Laptop Tower LT FP2 of young German Designer Sarah Maier.
Innovative is the storage of laptop, printer, mobile phone, digital camera and whatever we noadays use, plus a clever way of handling their multiple wiring.
Innovative is the standing desk’s utmost quality and its new way of interpreting veneer and varnish in the collection’s inherent “Furnierpartitur No2”: Red Gum veneer and cream varnish.
What users and planners of offices admired at the Orgatec fair last autumn, will also be very interesting for private users. It is the wonderful look plus the flattering touch of the LT FP2 which makes it a beautiful furniture at home. It includes socket illumination, a leather-covered lectern and mousepad, an easy-to-store main transparent cable, and castors that allow for a quick relocation around the flat

The LT FP2 will be presented at the special exhibition during Cologne’s IMM and LivingKitchen from January 18th til 23rd 2011. In a second evaluation round, 15 products will be nominated “Best of the Best“ and the results are published the 17th of January in Cologne’s eventlocation “Alter Wartesaal”.
The Interior Innovation Award is the first title for the Laptop Tower LT FP2. His brother, the LT young has already won a DDC Award (Deutscher Design Club) and was awarded for the German Designpreis 2011.
The LT young is a multimedia standing desk with docking station for iPhone and integrated sound system.

Overview of the Laptop Tower Series
The Laptop Tower is an eye-catching, fine-quality and innovative product.
A standing desk on castors, with connection to projector, printer, charging port and storage, no visible wiring except for one transparent cable, ergonomic working hight for the laptop and the famous mousepad, that flips out once the laptop-shelf is pulled out.
The laptop tower variation called LT young is a good piece of furniture that has an integrated soundsystem and docking station for iPhone or iPad.
The LT FP2 is a standing desk with lectern, laptop-shelf and office storage. Its surface is a rhythym of veneer red gum and paint cream.
Sarah Maier’s manufacture, that masters in veneer work, convinces with this beautiful new optic. The fine craftman quality comes from the German designer’s own 100-year old family manufacture.
