Your passion for Legacy fundraising will help raise vital funds to treat more survivors of torture

Freedom from Torture has been working for more than 30 years to provide direct clinical services to survivors of torture who arrive in the UK, as well as striving to protect and promote their rights. Since our inception, over 50,000 individuals have been referred for help. Thanks to the dedication of staff and volunteers – as well as our passionate supporters and funders – thousands of torture survivors have been able to rebuild their lives in incredibly difficult circumstances.

As the only organisation in the UK dedicated solely to the treatment of survivors of torture and organised violence, Freedom from Torture takes a holistic approach to rehabilitation, catering for the complex needs of survivors. Weprovide tailoredpsychological therapies, forensic documentation of torture, as well as practicalhelp such as legal and welfare advice for people who have survived horrific abuses of their human rights.

We are looking for someone to support our Legacy Fundraising Executive in all aspects of legacy and estate administration. This role will suit an individual who would like to work on a flexible, part-time basis.

The post holder will often work alternative days to the Legacy Fundraising Executive, and will therefore need to be able to draw upon their own knowledge of legacy estate management, income analysis and be experienced in income forecasting and tracking KPIs. You will need to possess a high level of numerical and data analysis skills.

As a member of the Institute of Legacy Management (ILM), and with experience of working in the charity sector in legacy administration, you will confidently be able to communicate with Executors and be aware of the importance of maintaining a clear audit trail.
