EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS OF ‘THE GIRL WHO TOUCHED THE STARS’

At Cardboard Castles, we believe that the arts is crucial for a child’s education. We believe that all

children should have access to the arts and theatre on a regular basis. The Girl Who Touched The

Stars is a piece of theatre that has been specifically created to enhance a child’s theatrical and

creative mind.

The Girl Who Touched the Stars explores the themes of terminal illness and bereavement.

although, the nature of these themes can be emotional, we believe this is part of life and we

aim to discuss them in a creative way through theatre.

Within the production, the characters go on various adventures. The adventures were written in

order to educate our young audiences. Adventures include trips to the Rainforest and the Moon.

children within the audiences will learn a great deal about these areas during the performance.
