Manager of industry-funded research project and building GIS database. Creator of web mapping application of Caribbean geophysical data using ArcGIS server and Adobe Flex Builder. Creator of 3D visualization models of the earth. Mentor to students.

C. Graduate Research Assistant, Virginia Polytechnic and State University, Blacksburg, VA (August 14 2008 - May 12 2009).

Conducted research in the area of Remote Sensing and wetland monitoring.

Spearheaded projects which included collecting and analyzing data used to re-engineer Lee County’s parcel layer, creating a control point network of Lee County’s certified corners, creating data dictionaries, and working with a university professor to collect spatial data in the coastal building zone. Assisted in the instruction of introductory GIS courses and created simple user manuals.

H. Contracted Hydrological Technician, U.S. Geological Survey, Fort Myers, FL (October 2003 - June 2005).

Computed data from monitoring stations throughout the Everglades National Park, which collect stream flow, gage height, water salinity, and temperature. Maintained and serviced such stations only accessible by boat. Used ArcGIS to create salinity maps for the southwest coast of Florida.

I. Contracted Research Assistant, U.S. Geological Survey, St. Petersburg, FL (February 2003 - September 2003).

Processed lidar data, produced topographical and bathymetrical maps, and monitored coastal and ecological changes on Assateague Island and other barrier islands. Other duties included organizing research materials, creating a data webpages, using ArcGIS to create basic maps, and performing other basic clerical tasks.
