The Geonav 6 Regatta has been born. This newest product has been designed for use on sail boats and consolidates both size and performance!
Geonav 6 Regatta is a new compact chart plotter with an integrated 12 channel parallel GPS receiver and antenna that features a 4 color display perfectly visible in direct sunlight. Powered through a cigarette lighter adapter, there is no need for installation or antenna wiring. The plotter is fully NMEA 0183 compatible (including wind instruments), and can be interfaced with an autopilot and external GPS. It is also possible to interface with a depth sounder so that depth information can also be displayed in a graphical as well as numerical window.
Its functions are very similar to those of Geonav 11 Regatta: it provides a graphic and digital display of true wind, calculates laylines using the tacking algorithm and predicts wind for the next leg. The GOTO menu includes a new "Goto Range and Bearing" feature to set the windward buoy. When navigating using the boat's motor you can consult the other pages with speed and time of arrival. Whether in regatta or cruising, the Geonav 6 Regatta will become a point of reference for the whole crew.
