Bucks New University, International Student Application form – Notes for Guidance
Please read and understand the below information and the Term and Conditions (on reverse of the Application Form) prior to completing the application form. You should also read the current institution literature to familiarise yourself with the course(s) you are applying for in terms of entry requirements etc.

The information you provide on your application form will be used for the following purposes only:
- For statutory reporting purposes.
- To enable your application for entry to be considered.
- To enable the Institution to initiate your student record.
Please complete the application form in word text or in neat handwriting, using BLOCK CAPITALS.

If you are in the UK you may be able to do the Bucks English Password Test
- Welfare
You need to declare any criminal convictions that are not regarded as spent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, 1974. For courses leading to professional qualifications, you must declare spent convictions.
- Current and previous education and qualification
You should include ALL courses and institutions attended in the UK, completed or not, along with transcripts/certificates and enrolment letters Please attach ALL UK visas held in the UK and relevant CAS/visa letters that were issued for those visas. Please also explain any gaps in the study history.
- Current and previous employment
- Personal statement/Statement of Purpose
This section is very important and is your opportunity to demonstrate to admissions and tutors that you have the experience and knowledge to complete the course successfully. You should reflect on previous experience, why you have selected the course and your future aspirations. If you have been out of education for a while please outline any relevant experience in lieu of education. You may also wish to explain breaks in your career or study, voluntary work etc.
