BUCKS COUNTY JOB FAIR TO BE HELD JUNE29th in WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA

Looking to land your next job? Then definitely plan to attend the 6thAnnual Bucks County Job Fair onMonday June29,2015between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Washington Crossing, PA.

Attendeescan meet face-to-face with representatives from local businesses and national corporations who are looking to fill full-time and part-timepositions. Both job seekers and employers must pre-register online at or Last year, the Bucks County Job Fair attracted overfive hundred job seekers andhosted forty-five companies.

This free community event is sponsored by WashingtonCrossingUnitedMethodistChurch. “Our main objective is to find jobs for those unemployed in our communities, as well as encourage, support and care for them in theirquest to find work in tough economic times,” says Pastor of Outreach Pierre Eade.

In addition to interviewing with companies and recruiters, job seekers can sign-up to attend a ten week support group with educational talks. “We want to extend the highest level of respect, personal care, and hospitality to everyone who comes to the job fair”,says Wayne Dovan, this year’s Executive Director of the event and member of the church. Volunteers will be available on the day of the event to provide free one-on-one coaching, take free headshots, to listen, pray and offer assistance.

Forty-five businesses, recruiting agencies and service providers participated in the 2014event. “From the minute the doors opened, there was a steady stream of job candidates,” Eade says. First National Bank of Newtown has attended the event since its inception. Human Resource Management at the bank said of the 2014 event, “It was well run, very organized, and a lot of great candidates. We'll see you in 2015!”
