Although the progress of PP in Year 5 is slightly below those who are not PP, the progress of the PP is still above national expectations. To address this we will have an additional teacher to teach maths group with this cohort next year (as they enter year 6) to ensure that they have additional support and feedback and make more rapid progress.
Although the progress of Year 6 PP is approximately in line with those who are not PP, their progress is marginally below expectations. This is due to the fact that 2 of the PP children were not able to fully reflect their ability during the SATs paper – however their Teacher Assessment confirmed that they did make expected progress.
