Bucket Collection Volunteer for East Lancashire & Greater Manchester

What type of Volunteer is needed?

Our Fundraising team are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help at bucket collections at pre-booked locations across East Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

What does it involve?

  • Attend a pre-booked bucket collection in your local area
  • Volunteers will be required to stand and hold a collection bucket in designated areas accompanied by other volunteers
  • Being part of a fun, enthusiastic group of volunteers who all support North West Air Ambulance Charity
  • Hours are flexible. Volunteer for as little as 2 hours (although you can arrange for a longer or shorter time slot if needed) Chose the best time shift to suit you and your co-ordinator will be in touch to confirm your timings
  • Wearing comfortable shoes is a must and branded t-shirts will be provided
  • No skills or experience required but a good sense of humour and the ability to relate to the public is helpful

Saturday 27th January 2018 / 2 hour bucket collecting shifts* from 12-3pm; 3pm-7pm / Manchester Beer & Cider Festival / Manchester Central / 8 per shift
*Other volunteering roles available include selling festival programmes, supporting the NWAA stall, donning Paramedic Pup our charity mascot, and posing for the crowd.

What can I expect from this role?

  • You will be helping to save lives! You and the other volunteers will be playing a key role in raising vital funds for your air ambulance allowing our crew to treat critically injured adults and children across the North West 365 days a year
  • Full training and event briefing from friendly North West Air Ambulance Staff in the run up to the event, during and after the event
  • Hours are flexible and bucket collections can take place mid-week and weekends
  • Expect to have lots of fun!
