Meeting Agenda

  1. President – Kevin Tolejko

-YES coach

  • Reminder if YES is schedule with a team you may not ask him to leave that team for your team. If your team does not show up after 15 minutes he will move to another team.
  • Feedback? – talk with Greg about increasing skill level of U8 drills

-Indoor Soccer/Fustal

  • Email will be sent to families this upcoming week, any coaches interested in coaching will then be given players info to make teams. This is done outside of BTBSA since it is not officially sponsored by BTBSA

-Creekside Soccer

  • Try-outs , Saturday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 29th at Brush Creek Park *See Info Sheet (Attached)
  • Motion approved to join Creekside FC

-Kyle Carlsen

  • He will have the opportunity to gain valuable international and cultural experiences and to showcase his talent and dedication to the sport in front of the Wolverhampton coaches. During this 8-10 day experience he will train in some of the professional soccer facilities around Europe.
  • Official information on Kyle's trip to Europe. He will be going from April 9-16, 2017. His portion of the trip is $3250 +food. He will be staying in Manchester and training with Wolverhampton.
  • Donation from BTBSA? – Motion approved to donate proceeds from Coach v Coach game, plus additional funds up to $500 to support Kyle

-Nomination Committee (Kevin, Rob, Mike) – all board members running for re-election. No floor nominations.

-Picture day? 10/9 – Saturday & Sunday?

  2. Registrar – Sue Hewko

-Open registration last two weeks of season (10/17) – Close date TBD

  1. Treasurer/Fundraising – Jenessa Leith

-Refunds – Tindell, Huff, Biro, Wojciechowski (Wojciechowski withdrew refund request prior to meeting since son was cleaner to play by doctor)

  1. Amount minus what was paid to PA West – Approve Refunds? – Refunds approved, minus the amount BTBSA pays to PA West for insurance ($14.50 for travel and $9.50 for in-house)

-Volunteers

  1. Going well – most families do show up

-Spirit-wear sale –Sales should be in by 9/27

-Coaches vs. Coaches Game – 10/28 – 6pm

  1. Tickets - $5.00 per adult - $3.00 per child
  2. Asking all coaches to participate

-Chick-Fil-A Night

  1. Made $53.83 (Did not go well)
  1. Website – Mike Altenhof – new sponsor Wood Heating, removed SoulFit as sponsor since they did meet agreement conditions.
