Scottish Rugby is now looking to fill the following key positions within Caledonia’s Age Grade Programme:
Caledonia Regional Age Grade (U20) BacksCoach
Working as part of a Coaching Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continued development of all players involved in the BT Sport Academy – U20Caledonia program.To be considered for any of the above role, you must hold the UKCC Level 3 or equivalent qualification; have a track record of developing talented age grade players and proven coaching success within appropriate competition.

Purpose of Job
To identify, select and coach players with potential to perform withina Regional U20 Squad as part of the national player pathway. To plan and deliver an agreed number of preparation squad sessions within a Coaching Team. On conclusion of the programme provide all players with accurate reports on their performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Successful track record developing age-grade players.
- Experience of identifying and developing individual player development.
- Knowledge and understanding of Rugby Union and the development of team performance in particular backs play.
- Track record of success in previous relevant coaching roles, including within your area of expertise.
- Experience of being involved in a successful performance team.
- IT skills & experience, including the use of video analysis systems
- Confident in presenting to all levels of audience.
- Track record of developing relationships and working effectively with partners.

Factor / Essential / DesirableQualifications & Attainments / Hold a UKCC Level 3 Coaching Certificate
This role will require a Disclosure Scotland Clearance.
Experience & Knowledge / Knowledge of the National Player Pathway & Key National Coaching Themes
Knowledge and understanding of Rugby Union
Recent and relevant coaching experience.
Experience of recognising and developing individual player performance.
Experience in planning & organisation
Excellent communication skills & confident in presenting to all ages & levels of audience.
Track record of working effectively with partners.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
